There are already several reviews on the internet for the Soundmagic PL30 headphones, but they are all based on the last version of the headset with the old packaging. Therefore we at Pricethriller.com have decided to give an updated review of the Soundmagic PL30 headphones…so read on!

First Impressions…

The new Soundmagic PL30 headphones come in a sleek, gold outer box which is of a significantly reduced size when compared to the original offering. The small window makes it an attractive, almost teasing taster of what is to come once the box is open. Once inside, the headphones are nicely packaged in their own mouldings, separated from the ten various end ear buds which make it easy to select the right size for your ears.

Soundmagic PL30 Headphones Build Quality…

Since the Soundmagic headphones are a premium, authentic Chinese brand, build quality was always going to be under the microscope. It has to be said the Soundmagic PL30 headphones put all concerns to bed. They are of tremendous quality; both the feel and look make you want to have paid more for them! Small logo and brand details are very professionally done. But then the Chinese were always going to have to up their game in order to provide high-quality, durable and viable goods to the world market. They have certainly proved they can!

More details:

The box contains 5 pairs of different sized end pieces, a durable, sleek carry case, two over-the-ear comfortable fit wrappings and a warranty card. The headphones are generally supported by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty for defects and non-user initiated faults. The base adjustment knobs on either side of the headphones help vary the base whilst listening to your music.

Soundmagic PL30 bottom line…

The soundmagic pl30 headphones provide a good deep base, mid-tones are defined and the general sound quality is comparable to those costing five times more! Headphone amplifiers can further enhance the sound quality offered by these headphones and may other sound devices. These headphones are most definitely recommended :-)

HOW-TO GUIDE: Transfer your XBOX 360 content from one Hard drive to another

This is a quick guide on how to use the XBOX 360 transfer kit available on Pricethriller.com!

1. Remove the transfer cable from the packaging and attach it to the XBOX 360 hard drive you wish to copy content from, as shown below:

2. Connect the USB side of the cable to your PC or Laptop and wait a few seconds for your system to recognise the hard drive. It will pop up with a little message in the bottom, right-hand corner ‘new hardware successfully installed’.

3. Place the CD supplied into your PC or Laptop and setup the ‘XPort 360’ software:

If you get the following message, you simply have to right click the Xport 360 icon and click on ‘Run as Administrator’ to run the software:

4. Once XPort 360 starts up, it should recognise your 360 hard drive and show the size. Select it and click OK:

5. Minimise the window and create a new folder on your desktop (or anywhere else) and name it ‘XBOX content’.

6. Now, bring XPort 360 window back up and simply navigate to the ‘Partition 3’ folder and highlight the “Content” folder:

7. Holding the right mouse button, drag the entire ‘content’ folder to the newly created folder ‘XBOX content’ on your desktop (this will include all profiles and save data of your hard drive)

8. Close Xport 360 once copied and disconnect the hard drive. Now connect the hard drive you want to put the content on.

9. Run Xport 360 again and find the ‘Content’ on it in Xport 360.

10. Drag the ‘Content’ folder from the folder on your desktop (we called it ‘XBOX Content’) into Partition 3. It will overwrite the existing ‘Content’ folder on the hard drive and update it.
